Boarding call to all mahjong enthusiasts: Don't miss out on the only Mahjong Festival in WA. Who knows, you may emerge as the 2024 WA Mahjong Champion! The 2024 Mahjong Champion will receive a $200 cash prize, which can be used to cover expenses for their participation in the upcoming Australasian Mahjong Festival in August 2024 in Rockhampton (QLD) if they choose to do so.

Key Dates
- WA Mahjong 1-day Festival: Saturday, 6 April, 2024.
- Early Bird registration ($20): until 31 December, 2023.

Practice resources & Clubs
List of games will be published on mahjongwa.org.au on 7 January, 2024 for download and practice session at home. In addition, you could join the following supervised practice sessions with other players:
- South Perth Learning Centre (96 South Terrace, South Perth)
Saturdays, 9:30am - 12pm, starting 20 January, 2024
$7/session, or $5/session for registered Festival participants. - Affinity Club (99 Dalkeith Rd, Nedlands)
Thursdays, 1:00 - 3:30pm, starting 18 January, 2024
6-month Affinity Club membership for $15, plus an activity card at $25 for 5 sessions, or $50 for 10 sessions.
We look forward to the Festival in April, where 88 players gather, come together for an exhilarating day, connect with like-minded enthusiasts, and experience a day filled with fun, strategy and camaraderie.
